Jeff Marks is proud to be part of a large multi-generational family in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho. He has a diverse background and experience that uniquely situates him to interact effectively and pleasantly with people from all walks of life. As a non-traditional student, Jeff (with his wife and four kids) attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID where he graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy. In 2009 Jeff moved his family back to Sandpoint and eventually joined the firm in 2020.
Since joining the firm as a paralegal, Jeff has expanded and evolved his interests and abilities primarily in estate planning. He is an active listener, pays strong attention to detail, is always willing to learn, and has great organizational skills. He is proud to be associated with a firm that has such integrity and passion for excellence and finds it a real honor to play a part in helping clients put their estate plans in order. Whether it is meeting one on one with clients to execute documents, researching an issue for an attorney, or in working with county officials, Jeff is anxious to do what he can to make the process pleasant, efficient, and accurate.
Jeff loves being in his shop woodworking or spending time beautifying his yard. He’s especially fond of his Japanese maple trees, waterfalls and streams. Now that he’s a grandpa, he also loves picking raspberries with his grandson out in the garden. He finds peace and joy in canning and cooking and always loves attending a Sandpoint Bulldog football game where he feels the power of community and small-town pride. On clear country nights, Jeff can be found looking up at the stars and pondering the mysteries of the universe with joy and wonder in his heart.
